i thought this was just another abc segment about something mildly interesting…
but man, i was blown away! back in the day, my mom would clip coupons from the sunday paper (we’d help her too) and she put all of her clippings in the “coupon box.” sure, we’d save some…but i dont think we saved like this. and even after watching this whole segment, i don’t even think i’d know how to go about shopping like this.
(oh, and sorry about the volume on this embedded video…it’s crazy loud and you only have the option to mute. very stupid)

this is simply the most amazing display of skill on a bicycle. i’m subscribed to a bunch of blogs dedicated to all things bicycling and have seriously gotten tired of watching all these kids on fixies spinning around and skidding and acting all alternative. in the past 6 months it seems like everyone and their mothers and grandmothers and great grandmothers have been releasing trailers for fixed gear videos. they were cool at first – now they’re a little boring and a little annoying. but THIS…this is FRESH (and i mean this in the literal sense and 90′s lingo sense)!!!
this has got to deliver a pretty humbling blow to the community of bicylists who think they’re hot stuff! GOOD!
with a stick!
here’s a short conversation I had with my grandpa over dinner (my mom butted in a little bit).

I love my wise and understanding grandpa!
skinny jeans!
they are wrong.
(if you have a ding-a-ling)
there’s a high school near my work place and all the kids got something fashionably weird goin’ on with their pants. i’m only talking about the guys here. anyway, they’re either down to ther knees, tight as hell (as if they were sprayed on), or BOTH!
today, on my lunch break, i saw a kid wearing pants so tight that it makes the guy picture above look like he’s wearing jnco wide-legs by comparison.
dudes, this is not masculine, i don’t care if that wasn’t your intent, but it’s not even metro or even fashionably gay. heck it’s not even girly. it’s STRAIGHT-UP GIRL!
this is also very wrong.
this is NUTZ!!!

Christian Faur uses crayons wrong…but makes amazing artwork! he basically treats each crayon as a pixel.
question: are these custom made crayons? ’cause i know crayola doesn’t make some of these colors…or maybe they do. or maybe it’s some special european crayons that are too advanced for americans. it’s been a while since i’ve used crayons.

more here.
