true story: when I was young (about 6 or 7) I flipped through my parents’ vacation pictures from Universal Studios. one of the pictures was a photo of my mom lifting up an entire side of a van. “I used to be bionic,†she said. I believed her.
now, being a fan of the Six Million Dollar Man, I understood what being bionic meant and what you could do. so one day in class, our assignment was to draw what we wanted to be when we grew up. I drew a little man scaling the entire side of a building with a single leap. we were all asked to share about what we drew, and when it was my turn, I shamelessly told everyone that I wanted to be a bionic man! I think everyone laughed, but I didn’t care. :P
oh, and by the way, if you had no idea, the picture above is the Six Million Dollar Man and the Bionic Woman :)
